How Far Along: 19w0d

Weight Gain: +5lb (I seriously have no idea how I gained 4 lb's in one week alone. Maybe it's my new-found love for bagels with cream cheese??)

Stretch Marks: Hmm...I'm pretty sure after my ultrasound yesterday I saw a new one, but I'll have to check it now. It was pretty bright red and new looking though. **Edit - it wasn't a stretch mark. I think it was from the seam of the hospital gown being pressed in because that's where my arm was resting for the 45 minutes. So, same as last week, nothing new!**

Maternity Clothes: Totally, and I need another pair of capris. It's getting warm here!

Symptoms: I get short of breath really quickly now, but apart from that I am feeling strangely un-pregnant.

Sleep: Great when I manage to get to bed on time, and Elijah lets us sleep past 6am!

Best Moment of the Week: By FAR when we found out we're having a GIRL! Next to that, I'd have to say, the rest of the ultrasound experience, and getting out of the house all day Monday. It was a loooong week last week, and I was feeling pretty cooped up until Monday.

Movement: Feeling it every day, sometimes stronger than others, and still rather low. I know my uterus has risen above my belly button, but most kicks I feel are still down by the pubic bone.

Food cravings: Brownies, spinach dip with pumpernickel bread, chocolate chip bagels, other bagels with cream cheese.

Gender: It's a GIRL!

What I Miss: Nothing comes to mind.

What I’m Looking Forward To: My Calgary trip this weekend, shopping there for fun girly things, and being half-way there in just one week! Where has time gone??

Milestones: Anatomy scan and finding out the gender!

Emotions: Overwhelmingly grateful, irritable and weepy.

I'm doing this right now to cheer me up because, while I had a wonderful morning with my girlfriends, the afternoon has been a little tough. I've cried twice for silly little things, and I just need a pick-me-up. Fortunately, Elijah is still sleeping...I was worried he wouldn't go back down for his nap after starting it in the car and waking up when we got home. Now I'm starting to worry about picking Matt up on time from work, because he has home teaching tonight at 6:15, and we need to have dinner still.

Also, may I just say that these ants are driving me insane? That is all.
